Dr. Sharon Williams - Board Certified Optometrist

Dr. Williams has over three decades of experience diagnosing and managing complex ocular conditions.  She spent the majority of her career at Virginia Mason Franciscan Eye Care Associates and is thrilled to begin the next chapter alongside a dedicated and collaborative team of doctors and staff at Family EyeCare Associates.

After graduating Magna Cum Lauda with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY she moved to Columbus to attend the Ohio State University College of Optometry.  Her quest to further her training and work in a multidisciplinary setting compelled her to complete an ocular disease residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio.

Curiosity and lifelong passion for learning continues to push her to stay up to date on the latest advancements in traditional Western medicine and also to explore integrative wellness practices.  In 2017, she completed a year-long program at the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy to become a certified Functional Medicine Health Coach (FM-CHC).

As a proud mom of three, she has been dedicated to raising her children, who are now young adults.  You can often find her out in nature enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, paddleboarding, backpacking and gardening.
